Wednesday is starting off mostly quiet across Acadiana with patchy fog along with warm and very muggy conditions. Rain chances are expected to increase later today to 60% with scattered showers and storms likely during the afternoon and throughout the evening. A few storms could produce heavy rains along with a very low threat for strong to severe weather. Some areas of Acadiana could receive 1-3″ inches of rain which could lead to minor flash flooding.
