Acadiana is under another Excessive Heat Warning this Wednesday. An extremely warm and muggy morning will be followed by triple-digit temperatures during the afternoon hours. The heat index is expected to range from 108° to 120° for much of the afternoon and evening.

Similar to yesterday, a round of isolated showers and storms is possible after 2:00 pm. Rain chances look to stay low until early next week.
