Rotary Club of Lafayette Clay Shoot

This Saturday, April 1, the Rotary Club of Lafayette will host a sporting clay event at The Wilderness Gun Club. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The participants will have an opportunity to break clays that simulate game hunting. The presentations will mimic everything from flying Teal to jumping Rabbits. Seventeen different hunting situations will challenge the amuse the attendees. To join the fun, the participants will need a shotgun in safe condition capable of holding two shells. Lead shot 9, 8 or 7.5 must be used for safety reasons. Eye and Ear protection is mandatory. The cost of the event is $125 for an individual and $500 for a team of 4 people. The cost for High School age and younger is $100 and $400 for a team of youths.
