Lafayette Reads Together is an initiative by the Lafayette Public Library to get the whole community reading, discussing, and sharing the same book. Free copies of the book are given to interested patrons. The book selected for the initiative is "Closer to Nowhere" by Ellen Hopkins. Through this book, Lafayette Public Library aims to inspire conversations about mental well-being and explore what it looks like to cope with tough situations in healthy ways.
