SCOTT, La. (KLFY)— Police arrest one who allegedly punched a victim in an intoxicated state, according to authorities.

According to a spokesperson with the Scott Police, officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1100 block of St. Mary Street in the early hours of October 9.

A news release states that during the investigation, it was determined that Robert Oncale II allegedly came home in an intoxicated state and initiated an argument with the victim.

Police said that during the argument, Oncale shoved and punched the victim which resulted in the victim suffering several bruises and abrasions of the torso and face.

Authorities said Oncale was arrested and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. He was charged with domestic abuse battery.
