Conditions should improve quickly through the morning hours but more scattered rain will develop for the area. Rain chances are expected to return to around 50%, mainly this afternoon. A few storms could contain heavy rains and frequent lightning. Otherwise, high temperatures will reach around 90° with a heat index near 104°.
