BREAUX BRIDGE, La. (KLFY) – The Breaux Bridge Volunteer Fire Department was called to a house fire early Friday morning.
It happened around 3:00 a.m. on Blanchard Street.
When firefighters arrived on scene they quickly jumped into action to put the fire out.
According to the Fire Chief, the home was vacant, and it looked like it was being renovated.
They have turned the investigation over to the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Several agencies assisted in extinguishing the fire.
