ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY) — St. Martin Parish Superintendent of Schools Allen Blanchard, Jr., announced this afternoon that parents should expect delays in the parish’s school bus system due to COVID-19.

Blanchard said the parish has a shortage of bus drivers due to the number of drivers quarantined and a shortage of substitute bus drivers.

“Please be patient with the transportation system and the schools,” said Blanchard.
