Creswell Middle School temporarily locked down Friday after shooting threat

OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) — Creswell Middle School in Opelousas was temporarily locked down Friday at 11 a.m. after a shooting threat was found written on a bathroom wall.

The school was placed on lockdown and searched. The campus was deemed safe and students returned to normal activity. Parents were notified of the incident when it happened.

Opelousas Police are still investigating.
