LAFAYETTE, La (KLFY) – Lafayette High School graduate and University of Houston guard, Corey Davis Jr; returned to the Hub City on Saturday to visit his family and friends before prepareing for the NBA Draft.
While at the University of Houston, Davis was the second player in Houston history with multiple seasons with 100+ 3-pointers made.
He tied school single-season record with 37 games played. and is one of seven players to compete in all 37 games.
He is ranked sixth in the American Athletic Conference with 17.0 points per game, finished second in the league with a .869 free throw percentage and is ranked ninth in The American with a .375 3-point percentage while also tied for third with 3.0 treys per game.
