Cajun softball coach speaks about loss of daughter

Cajun Nation

It was an emotional night for Ragin’ Cajun softball as they opened their season.

It comes just a couple of weeks removed, from a tragic accident that claimed the life of Geri Ann Glasco one of their assistant coaches, and the daughter of the head coach Gerry Glasco

After their 4-0 against Fordham Coach Glasco spoke about the pain of losing a child, and the motivation to go on.

He says the toughest time for him during a game is at the beginning when the national anthem is playing because that is when there is time to think about it.
