PORT BARRE, La. (KLFY)-UPDATE: Cory Shane Disotell is in U.S. Marshal’s custody awaiting extradition back to Louisiana. The agency would not comment on his charges.

ORIGINAL: Missing Port Barre teen, Domeanna Spell, has been found.

“I received a call from the Federal Bureau of investigations at 2 p.m., Friday, April 5, 2019, that Cory Shane Disotell and Domeanna Spell, have been located in Colorado,” Boudreaux said.

Spell is safe and Disotell, 47, is in custody, the chief said.

The Port Barre Police Department is currently charging Disotell with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, but additional charges from other agencies, including the FBI, are expected.

“This isn’t over,” Boudreaux told News 10.

Authorities located the 15-year-old and Disotel in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.

This was a joint effort with the Port Barre Police Department, the FBI, US marshals, state police, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s office and many other agencies and organizations “working tirelessly and fervently,” the chief said.

“We are so thankful that the hard work paid off and the end result was this girl was found safe,” the chief said.
