Rapper ‘NBA Youngboy’ reportedly arrested in downtown Atlanta

A Baton Rouge-based rapper has been arrested after an incident at a hotel in downtown Atlanta. According to police, NBA Youngboy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was taken into custody on Monday.
Investigators say the rapper was allegedly in a hotel with a woman identified as Starr Thigpen. According to police, a housekeeping staff member entered a room that was supposed to be unoccupied to clean it, but found Gaulden and Thigpen in the room.

Gaulden told Thigpen to get the employee out of the room and she reportedly struck the staff member in the face. The altercation spread into the hallway before help could arrive.

Both were charged with Disordely Conduct and possession of Marijuana.
