LSU warning fans of potential ticket scams ahead of Saturday’s game

BATON ROUGE – With LSU’s biggest football game of the season on Saturday, the university warning fans aiming to buy and resell tickets.

LSU’s ticket office shared the advisory on Twitter Tuesday afternoon. The post advises fans to resell their tickets exclusively through LUS’s online ticket marketplace to avoid buying a fake or losing valid tickets to theft.

The office is also warning against fans posting pictures of their tickets online. Officials said scammers can actually steal the barcode and invalidate the purchased ticket.
