Deputies: Woman arrested after 11 neglected dogs found at her home in Louisiana

CLAIBORNE PARISH, La. (KARD, KTVE) - The Claibrone Parish Sheriff's Office (CPSO) has arrested a woman they say neglected 11 dogs.

According to the CPSO, Springhill Police arrested Tiffany R. Williams Thursday morning on warrants out of Claiborne Parish.

Claiborne Parish deputies and detectives were contacted by a concerned citizen on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 in reference to multiple dogs being abandoned at a residence on Hwy. 2 Alt in Haynesville.

Once deputies arrived, they found 11 dogs inside and outside of the residence. Three dogs were said to already be dead due to neglect.

Williams has been charged with 3 counts of aggravated cruelty to animals and 8 counts of simple cruelty to animals and is being held on $100,000 bond.

The dogs have all been removed and provided with proper vet care.

They have all been placed with local rescue groups.
