The Acadia Youth Summit is preparing to kick off their community service event to help local youth envision and plan for success.

This year’s narrative and summit is for youth of all ages to join in conversation with professionals to suggest some of the things that should help plan important goals in life. The event is expecting to feature a number of guest speakers including Miss Louisiana 2018-2019, an Olympic medalist in track and field, Miss Southern University 1980, and a former LSU basketball coach.

Spokesman of the event, Kevin Ardoin says he, his brothers, and other contributing members “got together and…wanted to do something to give back to the kids so…we tried and get all of the resources in one place, so they could come in and see what it has to offer”.

Anyone is welcomed to attend.

The event is planned to take place on March 30, 2019 at 10:00am located at Crowley Middle School’s gymnasium. For more information, please contact them at (337) 983-6820 or 303-8269.
