Sisters of missing Port Barre teen: “He did have her believing that he was in love with her”

FBI is leading the search for 15-year-old Domeanna Spell of Port Barre, who’s been missing since Thursday.

She was last seen getting off a school bus at Port Barre High School on at 7 am; since that day, her family has been looking for answers.

“The school called my mom when she didn’t show up to homeroom. So thats when we found out and I think the police were called right after the school called my mom,” said sister Jerrie Cradeur.

Domeanna is believed to be traveling with 47-year-old Corey Disotel in a silver 2003 Honda Civic.

When News 10 spoke to the teen’s sisters, the said they immediately thought about Disotel after hearing of Domeanna’s disappearance.

“I had a feeling she had run away with him… From what my family’s told me, they had notes that they had plans on running away together somewhere in Mississippi,” said sister, Mary Hanks.

Cradeur adds, “She was having secret conversations through letters and a cellphone that no one knew she had until she was found with it.”

They say they believe their 15-year-old sister was manipulated by the 47-year-old prior to them running away together. “He did have her believing that he was in love with her and wanted to be with her,” said Cradeur.

But despite everything that’s happened, they say they just want Domeanna back in their arms,”If she is watching, just know that we love you and want you home no matter what. Know we care. We really care. We’re on your side 100%. We just want her safe and home.”
