New charges filed in Daisy “Lynn” Landry murder investigation

A grand jury, on Wednesday, handed up a second indictment against the man accused of killing Daisy Lynn Landry.

In the new warratnt, Malik Davis is accused of obstruction of justice for willfully, and intentionally tampering with evidence with the specific intent of distorting the results of a criminal investigation, the warrant reads. 

Police arrested Davis on May 31, 2017 and charged him with second degree murder of 18-year-old Jacquelyn “Daisy Lynn” Landry, who had disappeared from Lafayette several days prior.

Despite extensive searches, Landry’s body has never been found.
