Local men receive the ultimate gift for Father’s day

Many families celebrated their fathers with brunch, or a family gathering. For some, their father’s day was spent celebrating the arrival of their new born babies.
Around  7:30 am on Sunday, Justin Deblanc received a gift. His first born child, a baby boy named Elias.
Deblanc said, “It was a cool experience, it couldn’t of happened on a better day.  Im just ready for this new adventure.”

He says the arrival of Baby Elias is a father’s day gift he will never forget.

Deblanc said,  “She (his wife) lost her father last year, then he (baby Elias) came on fathers day, were blessed.  Ill always remember when I see him to be the best father I can be because we had him on father’s day.”

Just down the hall from the Deblanc family, two cousins gave birth, at the same time.  The expecting mothers were not planning on giving birth on the same day. One cousin had a baby girl, the other a baby boy.

One of the new mothers said, “Weird. Its really weird, but im happy it happened.”

Both fathers agreed there is only one way to celebrate the two birthdays, and father’s day every year.
Jaylon Blackwell, the father to a newborn girl said,  “Every year well be having something big, we have double the trouble.”

All three fathers described this Sunday as a blessing and a day they’ll never forget.
