A Scott man found dead on April 19 led to the arrested of William Williams, 25, for second degree murder.
Ethon Daigle, 20, was found unresponsive by Lafayette Police in the 100 block of St. Charles Street. Williams was conscious nearby and taken to a local hospital, police said.
During their investigation, detectives determined that Williams allegedly gave narcotics that killed Daigle.
Williams was arrested and charged with second degree murder. He was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on a $200,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
