This morning on Passe Partout, KLFY’s Gerald Gruenig was hunting, hooking, and cooking live inside the kitchen at Blue Dog Cafe in Lafayette with Chef Ryan Trahan. Ryan gave viewers a tutorial on how he likes to cook his big ducks and red fish. The big ducks were cooked “hunter style” with a rice and gravy. The red fish were grilled up with a chili garlic citrus blend and roasted potatoes.
Although the items featured on this weeks edition of Hunt, Hook, & Cook are not available at Blue Dog Cafe, the restaurant has just recently revamped there Sunday Brunch menu! Ryan Trahan and Sullivan Zant are two extremely talented chefs and there new brunch menu is definitely worth a try!
