Hilarious black and white "Silent Film" starring two priests from Breaux Bridge going viral

St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge is getting ready to mark their 100th anniversary as a parish this weekend. To celebrate, the Centennial Celebration Gala, will be held Saturday at 6:30 pm at the St. Bernard Gym. To celebrate, two parish priests made a fun video promoting the event – and it’s going viral! (You can watch the video below.) The video description on Facebook reads: “Fr. Boudreaux & Fr. Thibodeaux try out the Centennial Celebration Gala raffle prizes for themselves…” Mayor Ricky Calais issued the following statement congratulating the Diocese of Lafayette and St. Bernard Catholic Church on its Centennial Celebration. "Congratulations to the Diocese of Lafayette on its ongoing Centennial Celebration... and to the City of Breaux Bridge and St. Bernard Church for the special role both played in the creation of the Diocese of Lafayette. We are proud that the first Bishop of this new diocese was a Breaux Bridge native... one of our own... Bishop Jules B. Jeanmard. I wish St. Bernard Church the best this weekend with its celebration events and I commend and thank our clergy, Father McIntyre and Father Pellessier, for all they do for our great community! I will be out of town this weekend, but will be with you in spirit" Mayor Ricky Calais
