  • St. Landry parish church Arson suspect, Holden Matthews, is scheduled to appear in court this Monday morning. A motion has been filed to deny his bail.
  • A 16 year old girl was hospitalized after being shot following a prom after party in Breaux Bridge Saturday. An 18 year old was arrested in connection to the shooting.
  • Police in New Iberia are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday night. Family members tell News 10 one person has died. Police still have not confirmed a death.
  • Tonight the Lafayette police department is inviting the community out to an event geared to bring the community together. It begins at 6 p.m.at the MLK center.
  • There are now just two candidates vying to become the next interim Lafayette parish school uperintendent. The two candidates were the only two to receive votes to be interviewed.
  • Tiger Woods is sporting his fifth green jacket after winning the Masters Sunday. It’s his 15th major victory his first in more than a decade.
  • Will Wade has been reinstated as head coach for LSU’s men’s basketball team. Wade was suspended indefinitely for declining to meet with school officials regarding his involvement in an FBI investigation.
