Former substitute teacher booked on additional sex crime charges in St. Martin Parish
ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY)- An Arnaudville woman is facing additional sex crime charges involving children.
According the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies received a report in October of suspected carnal knowledge of a juvenile regarding two juveniles.
Following an investigation, a warrant for Tara Richard's arrest was obtained on January 9, 2019.
In December, Richard, 37, was arrested for allegedly having sex with two high school students in St. Landry Parish.
Upon her release from the St. Landry Correctional Center yesterday, she was extradited by deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office back to the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center where she was booked on two counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Shortly after being booked in, she was released on a $15,000.00 bond.
