School surveillance footage showed a man walking into Iota High School’s athletic complex and stealing money on March 2.

Police were able to identify the suspect, Neal Lege and issue an arrest warrant.

Leger is former football coach who left the school about two or three years, Chief Damon Daigle said.

Lege has turned himself in to the Iota Police Department, the chief said.

Police have not released further details about the theft.

The case is now pending in the 15th Judicial Court in Acadia Parish.
