The family of an Acadiana boxer who was killed last week is using social media to help find his killer.
Brandon Broussard, 28, was shot and killed on Oct. 14, but the person responsible has not been brought to justice.
His uncle, Christopher Bernard, says their family is now going digital for answers.
Family and friends have changed their profile pictures on Facebook to images of Broussard. Bernard says people who have information about his nephew can contact anyone with that profile picture to help them find who’s responsible.
“Social media is a big place for you to get a message out quick. And if you do that- keep sharing, and keep sharing, and keep sharing. Eventually something is going to happen,” explains Bernard.
He says that through all of this, he’s on one mission: “To show people how do you not give up until the murderer is found.”
