The weather pattern will be similar to a late spring weather patter for the next week or so with the better chance of severe weather and heavy rain north of Acadiana. Some of that severe weather today has been going on across Oklahoma and the Southern Plain. We will see temperatures in the mid to upper 80s each day for the rest of the week and lows near 70s. Rain chances will be low through Friday, then I expect a good chance of rain Saturday, and a few strong to severe storms will be possible. No big cold fronts will move through Acadiana anytime soon, but we may cool off a little at night over the weekend. Don’t expect much of a cool down.
