Drug raid in Lafayette lands suspect in jail

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics agents raided a home last Friday. 

Deputies say they found various drugs worth more than $140,000.

Carlos Soprano, 23, was arrested. He is charged with three counts of possession with intent to distribute (PWITD) THC butter, Pcilocybin and MDMA; possession of THC oil; PWITD cocaine; possession of Amphetamine tablets; three counts of possession of a firearm in the presence of controlled dangerous substances (CDS); two counts of possession of a stolen firearm, monies derived from drug proceeds.

Deputies say the investigation is ongoing.
