Missing Illinois woman’s cell phone last pinged in N.O area., police say

Illinois police are looking for a missing woman whose phone was last turned on in New Orleans.

According to the Minooka Police Department, Tina Saunders was reported missing by her father on March 22nd.

Her father told police she was “acting strange and making strange comments” when she visited him.

The day before, Saunders was arrested for trespassing at her ex-husband’s home and police contacted her at her step-daughter’s home. Police say she later withdrew $300.

According to Minooka Police, Saunders’ cell phone was last on in New Orleans on March 23, however since then no other cell phone, social media or financial activity has occurred.

The Minooka Police Department has contacted several hotels/motels and casinos where her phone was last on. Police say they have received information from her family regarding her having a mental condition and she is classified as being “vulnerable.”
