(WVLA) – Former LSU Wide Receiver Drake Davis is in trouble with the law again.

We’re told Davis is now facing two counts of child pornography, in addition to previous charges.

According to an affidavit, Davis was arrested by LSU police on August 17, 2018 on a second degree battery charge after allegedly assaulting an ex-girlfriend.

In an effort to obtain more evidence in that particular case, a search warrant of his cell phone was acquired.

During this forensic digital analysis, detectives discovered two videos on his phone determined to be child pornography.

Both videos were sent to Davis’ phone by an unidentified subject.

The first video depicts a ten-year-old African-American boy and the other portrays a Caucasian five-year-old boy engaging in inappropriate sex acts.

Davis never deleted these videos from his text message history and both embedded motion images were shown as “read.”

As a result, Davis is now being charged with all of the following:

  • 2 counts of pornography involving juveniles (Felony)
  • 1 count Battery of a Dating Partner (Strangulation/Felony)
  • 2 counts of battery of a Dating Partner (Misdemeanor)
  • 2 counts of Violations of Protective Orders (Misdemeanor)
