Three suspects arrested on drug, weapons charges in Breaux Bridge

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY)- Three people were arrested on multiple charges early Tuesday morning in Breaux Bridge. 
The arrests were made in the parking lot a business in the 1900 block of Mills Highway, the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office said. 
While performing security checks at area businesses, deputies approached “three individuals acting suspiciously.”
Upon further investigation, deputies located two firearms, suspected narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of currency. 
 As a result of this investigation, three suspect were arrested on the following charges:
 
Jarren Carrier, 29, Youngsville
Charges: Possession with Iintent to distribute schedule I C.D.S.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Resisting an officer
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a C.D.S.
Monies derived from drug proceeds
 
Skylar Pleasants, 25, Youngsville
Charges: Possession of a schedule I C.D.S.
Possession of drug daraphernalia
Possession of a firearm in the presence of a C.D.S.
 
Brittany Conrad, 32, Scott
Charges: Possession of schedule I C.D.S.
Obstruction of justice
Possession of drug paraphernalia
 
They  were booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. No bonds have been set at this time.
