The excitement of March Madness begins today as the NCAA tournament kicks off. The LSU Tigers will take on Yale this afternoon in the first round. This Yale team has the ability to score a lot of points on any team they face.
So here’s what could happen in this one:
LSU goes as point guard Tremont Waters goes. He will have to be the floor general they’ve come to expect & most importantly: Take care of the ball & not turn it over.
Erik Dobratz says, “While I’ve been here I’ve seen LSU do a rebounding drill…they’ve been smacking the glass, it’s really impressive. But here’s the deal, Yale is one of the best def rebounding teams in the country. I talked to Yale head coach and he said he’s going to play you guys straight up, man to man, and see what happens. That’s what he did vs Baylor in 2016. This team doesn’t beat itself….they’ve been through the wars. In 2016, these seniors were freshmen, so this isn’t new for everyone.”
