State Police investigating a two-vehicle crash with a fatality on I-10

WHISKEY BAY, La. (KLFY) -- Louisiana State Police confirmed they are investigating a two-vehicle crash with at least one fatality on Interstate 10.

Troop I Public Information Officer TFC Thomas Gossen said the crash occurred on I-10 eastbound near mile marker 125.

LPSO searches for man wanted on contractor fraud, theft charges

Kermit "Joey" Leger, 43, is wanted on charges of contractor fraud and felony theft in Lafayette and surrounding parishes.

Rayne Police arrest armed robbery suspect

RAYNE, La. (KLFY) -- A Rayne man faces numerous charges after police say he robbed a victim in a grocery store parking lot and fled on Feb. 24.

Johnathan Dixon, 22, of Rayne faces charges of attempted armed robbery, armed robbery firearm enhancement, simple burglary, certain felon in possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm. The bond was set by District Court Judge David Smith at $235,000.
