LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)-

Deputies in tactical gear are investigating the 600 block of Deer Park Trail this afternoon in search of several possibly armed suspects.

According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called into the neighborhood in response of a robbery attempt in progress. 

Spokesman John Mowell said initial reports said the suspects were armed, but he said he could not confirm at this time.
