IOWA, La. (KLFY)- The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office has released the names of two suspects wanted in the deaths of an Iowa couple found in their home on Sunday.

Javari Guidry, 23, and Jordan Alexander Legros, 21, are considered armed and dangerous, authorities said. They are wanted on warrants for aggravated burglary and first degree murder.

Authorities believe they may be traveling in a silver car and may be in the area or possibly in Texas.

The bodies of Walter Joseph Gotreaux, 72, and Darlene Cecelia Gotreaux, 70, were found after a welfare check at 20241 U.S. Hwy 90.

They were found shot multiple times inside their bedroom Sunday afternoon, detectives said.

At this time, the motive behind the murders appears to be robbery, investigators said today.
