ST. MARTINVILLE, La. (KLFY) – A St. Martinville man is in custody after deputies searched his home and recovered drugs and a high powered weapon.
Deputies executed a search warrant at the 100 block of Labbe Street in St. Martinville early Thursday morning.
According to Major Ginny Higgins, agents recovered crack cocaine, marijuana and a loaded high powered rifle at the residence.
Clayges Abraham, 32, was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:
- Distribution of Schedule II CDS (Crack Cocaine)
- Possession of Schedule I CDS (Marijuana)
- Transactions Involving Proceeds From Drug Offenses
- Illegal Carrying Of Weapons In The Presence of a CDS
- Possession of a Firearm By A Person Convicted Of Certain Felonies
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
No bond has been set.
