UPDATE, 1:45 p.m.: Authorities have lifted the threat at Breaux Bridge High School Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the bomb threat was written on a bathroom wall at the school, and students were evacuated to a nearby field. No bombs or other threats were found at the school, and class resumed as normal.

The threat was the second one reported in St. Martin Parish Tuesday. Cecilia High School was also subject to a bomb threat earlier in the day.
