OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) – A major bridge will close in St. Landry Parish due to needed emergency repairs.

Effective immediately, the right lane of U.S. 190 at the MOPAC Bridge in Opelousas, east of the I-49 Interchange, is closed to traffic in the westbound direction. Emergency repairs have already begun. No date on when the repairs will be finished.
