Things appear to be getting back to normal in the old neighborhood of Howard Poche as the crime tape has come down and the police presence has decreased, however, those close to him, know that something is missing
“The thought of knowing that Howard isn’t going to be back, it’s hard.” Long time neighbor of Poche, Malfreda Crosby says they’re one step closer to closure as the second suspect, 18 year old Brady Rodgers is arrested for Howard’s murder.
“To know that he was taken in such a tragic way, you know? He didn’t deserve that. And on Christmas Day!”
In his front yard, Howard’s flag still flies, and in the back, crime tape and garbage lie next to a tombstone for Howard’s parents, only feet away from where his body was found.
