LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) A man was found dead in his Lafayette home late Sunday afternoon in a later stage of decomposition.
According to police, family members were conducting a welfare check at the home in the 900 block of St. Charles near 12th Street when they located his body.
No foul play is suspected, police said.
The deceased has not been identified and the cause of death is unknown.
