Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery

55th Annual Greenlawn Cemetery Memorial Day Event

Time: 12:00 Noon

Date: Monday, May 27, 2019

Place: Walters Funeral Home (air conditioned, out of the weather)

2424 North University Avenue

Guest Speaker: James Bollich, WW II U.S. Army Prisoner of War survivor of the Bataan Death March, Bataan Peninsula in the Philippines.

Participants are encouraged to visit the cemetery before, or after, the program.

St. Landry Parish Veterans Memorial Day Ceremony

10:30 A.M. Delta Grand Theater

Fountain Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetary Memorial Day Program

Monday, May 27, 2019 at 9:00 AM

On Monday, May 27, 2019, at 9:00 am, Fountain Memorial Funeral Home & Cemetery in Lafayette, located at 1010 Pandora Street, will host its Annual Memorial Day Program with a service in the veteran’s section of Fountain Memorial Cemetery featuring veteran honor guards, a speaker and patriotic musical selections. Open to the public. Lawn chairs are welcomed. Service lasts approximately one hour. Reception under the pavilion following. For more information please call 337-981-7098.

Church Point Memorial Day Ceremony

On behalf of the VFW Post 9903 and American Legion Post 225, we would like to invite you and your family to the Church Point Depot this Memorial weekend 27-28-29 May. From sunrise to sunset, we will have a display to honor our 21 fallen Heroes.
