Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon stopped by the Passe Partout studio this morning to discuss Medicare, and its open enrollment process. He answered some questions that seniors may still have about the program.
What is Medicare?
Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people 65 and older and for eligible people who are under 65 and disabled.
When is Medicare Open Enrollment?
The Medicare Open Enrollment Period runs October 15- December 7.
What options do Medicare beneficiaries have during open enrollment?
Medicare beneficiaries can make changes to their existing plans. If you need a new prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage Plan, now is the time to make changes.
