A man fleeing police is caught in Mississippi, charged with two counts of rape involving juveniles.
Houma Police say an investigation into tan April report of a molestation led to first-degree rape charges for 31-year-old Felix Alberto Reyes.
The report says the 6- and 7-year-old victims reported what had happened to 36-year-old Rebecca Freeman, who is the girlfriend of Reyes.
Rather than reporting the incident to authorities, police said Freeman assisted Reyes by taking him to Mississippi.
Reyes was located in the Harrison County Correctional Facility where he was being held on an unrelated charge. He was charged with two counts of first-degree rape.
Freeman was taken into custody at the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex for one count of accessory after the fact to first-degree rape along with an outstanding warrant for possession of stolen property
