(KLFY) The Louisiana Supreme Court said Tuesday it would not take up an appeal brought by Brian Pope, the former Lafayette City Marshal who was found guilty in October 2018, by a grand jury, of using city marshal funds for personal use.
The court’s refusal to take the case leaves his conviction intact.
He was sentenced to three years, with all but one year suspended.
