A Lafayette teen was arrested for murder.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s SWAT team apprehended 17-year old Demonte Prier. He was captured in teh 100 block of Verna Street in Lafayette.
Prier is charged with second degree murder. He’s being held in the Lafayette Parish Correction Center on $500,000 bond.
