LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – A crash along Eraste Landry Road in Lafayette claimed one life Wednesday afternoon.
According to police the victim, Phillip Todd Migl, 61, of Scott was killed around 2:45 p.m. in the 2300 block of Eraste Landry Road.
Police said the driver was traveling eastbound towards Ambassador Caffery when the vehicle left the roadway, veered to the left and went through a fence.
The vehicle came to a rest on a property belonging to Lafayette Salvage, police said.
The driver was pronounced dead on scene.
