LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — A Lafayette intersection was closed due to alligator, authorities said.

A pallet of skinned alligator meat fell off a truck and onto the roadway near the corner of Mudd Avenue and Evangeline Thruway Tuesday afternoon, according to Lafayette Police.
