Lafayette man arrested for possession of $14,000 worth of meth and cocaine

ARNAUDVILLE, La. (KLFY) – A Lafayette man was arrested in Arnaudville after reports of suspected drug activity.

The St. Martin Parish Narcotics Division investigated the residence in the 1500 block of Coteau Rodaire Road and found Daryl Savoie, of Lafayette, in possession of a significant amount of Meth and Cocaine.

According to Major Ginny Higgins, Narcotics Agents recovered the drugs, which have a street value of approximately $14,000.

Agents also seized a Mercedes sports car that belongs to Savoie.

He was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS over 28 grams (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession with the intent to distribute Schedule II CDS (Cocaine)
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Following Savoie’s arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center.
