LAFAYETTE, LA. – A Lafayette elementary school was placed on lock down early Monday morning.
According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Department, the lock down at Dr. Raphael A. Barancro Elementary School began following to a domestic dispute that officials believed had the potential to spill over into the school.
The lock down was only implemented for a short time.
No arrests were made.
