The Diocese of Lafayette says it will release its own list of priests accused of sexually abusing children, Friday, April 12.
The list reporteldy contains the names of 33 priests and 4 deacons.
In advance of the release of the Diocese of Lafayette Clergy Abuse List, Diocesan Spokeswoman Blue Rolfes released a “Pastoral Letter Regarding List of Clergy from the Diocese of Lafayette Who Have Been Credibly Accused of Sexual Abuse of a Minor or Vulnerable Adult.”
In Louisiana, at least four of the state’s seven dioceses have released their own lists since the Pennsylvania grand jury report came out. Those include the New Orleans archdiocese, Alexandria diocese, Baton Rouge diocese and the Houma-Thibodaux diocese.
